Unlock Adventure: The Simril Spoilsport (Tanis) (Complete Area 50)
Simril is ruined! Someone has pilfered the food supplies!
Variant 1: Taking Solace (Complete Area 75)
Tanis starts in the formation. He can be moved, but not removed.
You may only use Champions who are Humans, Elves, Half-Elves, or members of the Heroes of the Lance affiliation.
1-2 Goblins spawn in each wave in all non-boss areas.
Starting in area 250, in boss areas, an Aurak Draconian spawns alongside the normal boss. It must also be defeated in order to progress.
Getting to Know Tanis: Tanis is conflicted between his human and elf sides, but can work well no matter which side you choose.
Variant 2: Chosen Path (Complete Area 125)
Tanis starts in the formation. He can be moved, but not removed.
Only Tanis and Champions buffed by his Two Worlds specialization can deal damage.
Fizban joins the formation. Champions adjacent to him have their base attack cooldown decreased by 1.0 seconds.
Getting to Know Tanis: Tanis will buff either his column, the tallest column, or the shortest column in the formation, depending on which specialization you choose.
Variant 3: Role For Initiative (Complete Area 175)
Tanis starts in the formation. He can be moved, but not removed.
Other than Tanis, you may not use Champions who only have the Support Role.
Only Champions with the formation’s most present non-Support Role can deal damage.
Getting to Know Tanis: Tanis’s buffs are greatly increased based on the roles of the Champions in your formation. A wide variety of roles, but with one over-represented, will give the best possible boost.
