Wren Portrait

Wren

Wren is unaffiliated and normally benefits from the following stat nodes:

  • 13+ Strength
  • 13+ Constitution
  • 13+ Intelligence
  • 13+ Wisdom
  • 13+ Charisma

Wren is a little complicated. Her DPS specialisation is her Dwarf Monk Glitch which has a melee attack and gives her +4 Dexterity - allowing her to benefit from the Dexterous core. However - she also has a Warforged Sorcerer Glitch form which changes her into a magic attacker and removes the +4 Dexterity thereby disqualifying her from the Dexterous core - and instead allows her to qualify for the Magic nodes on the Magic core. It is for this reason that I have included the Dexterous core as well as both variants of the Magic core.

Stat Increasing Formation Abilities Wren does not gain the benefit of extra stat nodes from any stat increasing formation abilities. +1 Constitution +2 Intelligence +1 Constitution +2 Intelligence +2 Charisma +1 Dexterity Set Dexterity to 16 (if lower) Magic CoreMagic ic.byteglow.com/modron/8euk6u6PKHy_mmNX4S7ek 2.83e53% Unaffiliated CoreUnaffiliated ic.byteglow.com/modron/dFFmh0JAwYRLfa9mH_uHt 1.15e49% Variable Damage Information Tooltip IconThis core can potentially do more damage.

If you use Wren’s Warforged Sorcerer specialisation then the Magic core is a clear winner. If - however - you use her Dwarf Monk specialisation - which is her intended DPS specialisation - then you’ll be better off with either the Unaffiliated or Dexterous cores. The Magic core does not contain any health nodes which may influence your choice.

Note that the damage of the Unaffiliated and Dexterous cores vary depending on the number of unaffiliated or 15+ Dexterity champions (respectively) in the formation. The damage numbers on the layout above account for just 1 (Wren only). For a specific breakdown of how the cores fare with more unaffiliated or 15+ Dexterity champions - check the tables below.
